Holiday Village Atlantica Kos

This hotel combines a by-the-beach location with a busy activity agenda, four restaurants and three pools.

A big beach is just across the road at the Holiday Village Atlantica Kos. There are sunbeds and a watersports centre on the sands, or you can stroll the other way towards Marmari’s bars and restaurants.

The Holiday Village Atlantica Rhodes gets top marks for its pool scene – you’ve got lively ones, quiet ones, and a massive splash park with slides and a lazy river. As for bedrooms, they’re really smart, with design-mag décor.

Love a good theme day? We get out the giant twister for Retro day and we do a great Reality TV day too.

Splash Parks & Pools

As well as the best pools around, you'll find mini slides, flumes and fountains at most holiday villages, and even the odd pirate ship at some.

All of our holiday villages have a First Choice Kid's Club. It's split into age categories so activities really hit the mark for your little ones.

Wet & Wild

Pool Assault Course

Twin Tracks is the latest addition to our wacky water inflatables and perfect for ages 6 and up. It’s an inflatable assault course for the pool that two people can tackle at the same time.

Waterwalkerz

Ages 5 and over can run on water in these huge inflatable balls. Or ‘human hamster wheels’, as we like to call them.

Water Rollers

Race your mates on the pool’s surface in these inflatable tubes - aimed at energetic over 6s. If you like these, you’ll love our ‘water wacky races’, too.

Canoeing

Ages 6 and up can take to the pool in our inflatable canoes for games, races and general water-themed frivolity. We’ve got peddle boats and bumper boats designed for little people under 6, too.

Outdoor Adventures

High Rope Adventures

All Holiday Villages have a different assault course, where we rig you up in a harness and you’re free to swing, climb and walk across all types of routes. Some height restrictions apply, but they’re generally open to everyone over 6, even mums and dads - so no chickening out.

Aeroball

When we say we’ve got every type of sport going, we’re not kidding. We’ve even got aeroball. That’s basketball on a trampoline, in case you’re wondering.

Archery

From Katniss Everdeen in the Hunger Games to Hawkeye in the Avengers, being nifty with a bow and arrow has never been cooler. Ages 6 and up can perfect their skills at our expert-led archery sessions.

Sports & Activities

Rounders, football, crazy golf – you name it, we’ve got it. Plus, there are circus workshops, treasure hunts and raft-building challenges. This lot's aimed at all ages.

Evening entertainment is run by our team of professional UK entertainers, and all comes under the ‘HV Live’ banner. Expect kids’ discos, Saturday morning TV-style game shows, competitions, and professional shows 7 days a week.

Nightly Live Shows

From the power rock classics of Anthem Legends to the TV-inspired HV’s Got Talent, we’ve got more live shows and cabaret sets than you can shake a mic at – and there’s a different one showing every night.

LED Stage Backdrops

All our stages are backed by state-of-the-art interactive digital screens, which take the entertainment experience to a whole new level. They’re also the stars of the HView cinema sessions, where you can catch screenings of hit family films.

Theme Days

Splashathons

Holiday Villages host Splashathons on selected dates over the summer, where tots, kids and grown-ups can all sign up for pool-based activities and challenges in aid of the fantastic UK baby charity, Tommy’s. Kids’ TV favourite Peppa Pig is a huge fan – she’s been supporting the charity since 2006 – so we theme some of the antics around her.

Family Theme Days

We’ve done everything from an Olympics-themed Sports Day, to a Pirate Day that Jack Sparrow would have been proud of. This summer we’re getting out the giant Twister out for Retro day and we’re planning a great Reality TV day, too.

From Tots To Teens

Holiday Villages go all out when it comes to keeping younger guests entertained. Cut-above kids’ clubs, expert-run academies and dedicated stuff for teenagers – it’s all part of the deal. Plus, we work to UK standards when it comes to childcare, so peace of mind comes as standard.

First Choice Kids' Clubs

3 to 5-year-olds

Games, painting, storytelling – it’s all in store at Little Stars. We’ve got loads of new ideas, plus a bunch of kids’ favourites they know and love. We also run Play And Learn sessions that tie in with the National Curriculum, with fun things like Wild West-themed games.

6 to 8-year-olds

We line up loads of fun games and activities at this one. Most of it is exclusive to Super Stars, so your kids get to try lots of new things like mini fencing. As for our Play and Learn sessions, they take children on a Pirate Adventure or Mini Beast Safari.

9 to 11-year-olds

Got older children with you? Holiday Villages have got it covered. We pitch this club just right, giving this tricky-to-please age range plenty in the way of sports, quizzes and team challenges.

Peace Of Mind

First Choice Kids’ Clubs are run to UK standards at Holiday Villages, so staff have advanced DBS security checks and First Aid training. There’s a strict sign-in and out system, too.

Little Ones

Twinkle Stars

Our crèches are run to UK standards, so Creche Reps are NVQ Level 3-qualified, DBS-checked and First Aid-trained. Sessions are during the day and some evenings, packing in everything from puppetry to painting. Plus we've stocked up with a whole host of toys and sensory items to encourage your little ones to learn through play. These fill up fast so you need to book ahead of time on 0871 200 7799 – it’s 10p per minute plus network extras. A 2-hour slot costs from £9 and you can book them as a block to keep the costs down.

Swim-A-Song

The award-winning Swim-a-Song courses teach babies and pre-schoolers all sorts of pool skills using nursery rhymes and interactive play. Sessions are free and you can book them when you get there.

Infant Luggage Allowance

Under-2s get a 10kg luggage allowance as well as a pushchair or car seat.

Baby Packs

You don’t have to worry about lugging everything abroad with you. You can book a baby pack that has all the big stuff, like highchairs and buggies, plus bits and bobs like blenders and bottle warmers, from £50 per stay. If you’re just after a buggy, we’ve got lightweight pushchairs with canopies. Book it – upfront or when you arrive – from £20 per stay.

Academies

Football Academy

Beckham hopefuls aged 4 to 16 are put through their paces by FA or UEFA-qualified coaches on a 2, 3 or 4-day course. The 2-day course starts at £30. Our coaches also help under-4s master the basics at our special parent and toddler sessions, Toddler Football Academy. They’re free, and you can book them when you get there.

Swim Academy

These classes are taken by ASA-qualified teachers. £30 gets you five 30-minute group sessions with no more than 6 kids to a teacher, or there are 1 to 1 sessions. Classes are available for anyone aged 3 and over - even adults. Book before you go on 0871 200 7799 – it’s 10p per minute plus network extras.

Stage Academy

These workshops – run by a top UK entertainment company Razzamataz – cater for wannabe popstars aged 4 to 16. It’s £35 for three 2-hour slots, and in 2014 it runs from 20 July to 31 August. There’s also Mini Razzamataz, free sessions especially for under-5s. You’ll need to book before you go on 0871 200 7799 – it’s 10p per minute plus network extras.

Rookie Lifeguard Academy

Our qualified instructors teach youngsters aged 8 to 16 lifesaving skills. Five 30-minute sessions cost around £30 and you can book these when you get there.

Teens

12 to 15-year-olds

This one’s not a kids’ club – it’s strictly for teenagers – and has everything from David Guetta-style DJ lessons, to plain bonkers stuff, like Water Walkerz – human hamster balls for rolling on the water. There’s free Wi-Fi, too, plus loads of places to hang out with friends.

For Adults

Holiday Villages aren't just for kids. From the spa to the bar, there's plenty to keep the adults happy, too.

Themed Restaurants

You’ve got at least 2 à la carte restaurants, whichever Holiday Village you go for. Lots of them are themed, so expect things like Italian, Mexican or Chinese. You can eat in these venues as part of your All Inclusive set-up – just reserve a table when you get there.

Bars

All our Holiday Villages have a choice of bars. There’s entertainment, too – things like comedians and cabaret singers. After an adults-only bar? You'll find them at Holiday Village Red Sea, Holiday Village Aliathon, Holiday Village Rhodes and Holiday Village Kos.

Spa

You'll find spa facilities at lots of Holiday Villages. We’ve got all kinds of treatments for you to try, as well as steam rooms, saunas and whirlpools. A gym comes as standard, too. Remember, you need to pay extra for any treatments.

Late Kids' Clubs

Enjoy a night out while the kids have fun at one of our late sessions from 9pm until 11pm. We lay on the usual things from the daytime, as well as movie nights and chocolate parties. We’ve also got a space where they can have a doze. Some sessions are free, some cost extra.

Baby Packs & Buggies

We can sort all the essential kit for you, including highchairs, sterilisers and buggies from just £50 per stay. If it’s just a buggy you’re after, we’ve got pushchairs with lightweight canopies. Book one upfront or pick it up when you arrive.

Bigger Luggage

You can check in up to 20kg of luggage and carry up to 7kg on the plane.

Pool towels

Don’t worry about packing pool towels. We supply them, which means you’ve got more space in your case when it’s time to pack.
